In addition to breakfasts, we also offer packed lunches and evening meals.
Bright airy and spacious breakfast room, looking out onto our lovely garden.
We can usually provide a full cooked vegetarian breakfast with porridge, free range eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, etc., or a cold breakfast with cereals, fruit, hard-boiled free range eggs, cheeses, yogurt, bread, jam, marmalade (usually homemade), butter and other spreads, etc., and most often a combination of both. We try to use high quality organic products, subject to availability. Bacon and/or ham (RSPCA approved Freedom branded) are available on request. Ground coffee, high quality loose leaf black teas, green teas, and a wide selection of herb teas are served. The atmosphere is friendly, communal and informal. Lots of lively conversation as well as delicious food.
Please notify us in advance with any dietary requirements (e.g. gluten-free) to make sure that we can provide you with what you need. We are able to fine-tune what we provide to your preferences and requirements over the time you stay here.
Breakfast is available at almost any time - we have a flexible approach and are happy for you to have a long sleep-in, pre-breakfast walk, etc., followed by a very late breakfast. There is not any formal closing time so you can take your time and enjoy your holiday. The dining room has a lovely aspect looking out onto our garden, woodland, and through the trees, the farmland of Culrain.
Evening meals, usually vegetarian (meat dishes available if you require), packed lunches and dinners are available on request.
There are also places locally to eat out for your lunch or evening meal - see below. We can provide full details and phone numbers so that you can reserve your meals (advisable).
