Policies / House Rules

We love meeting people from all walks of life and everyone is welcome here.

We are fairly easy going but have a few rules which are based on showing respect for other people in the house and the neighbourhood:

  • speak quietly after 10pm in the house, and please bear in mind when using the garden that there are neighbours.
  • only smoke in the garden.
  • remove dirty footwear in the entrance lobby.

Thank you!

If you are a driver or motorcyclist please drive slowly and carefully when using the access track - a number of locals have dogs which they walk off the lead regularly.

Pets - as we have neighbours with pets which sometimes wander into our garden and into the car parking area outside the house, if your dog does not get on well with other dogs, please keep it under close control the whole time, including when you let it into or out of your car. Likewise please keep your dog on the lead at all times when walking it in the woods in such cases.
