Oykel Bridge
Oykel Bridge is a delightful spot at between Strath Oykel to the east, and Glen Oykel to the north west and is about 16 miles from our B&B in Culrain. It has a fine old bridge which can be viewed from the new bridge over the River Oykel, and there are paths and tracks either side of the bridge for enjoyment of this area. Oykel Bridge has a hotel, and is at the junction between two sections of the Scottish National Trail, a long distance trail recently developed by the famous walker, Cameron MacNeish. The trail heads south west through lovely woodland in Glen Einig and north west through Glen Oykel.
There is a delightful footpath which takes you along the River Oykel to the Oykel Falls.
