East Amat Falls

pictures below text ↓

There are some pretty waterfalls on the road heading west out of Ardgay along Strathcarron towards the Amat Forest area. They are just before a small road bridge near the head of the strath. The distance is about 12 miles and is an easy cycle run as the roads are flat or gently undulating all the way. There is also another lovely set of falls in Glen Alladale, known as the Eas Charron falls. These are a short walk from the car park near Glencalvie.
