Enjoy a Refreshing Spring Break
in our B&B in North East Scotland.

Experience a second spring as our springs start weeks later than down south!

Balvaig Cottage Bed and Breakfast, Sutherland. The Dining Room.

Bluebells from the track to our house

Native species - hawthorn, wild cherry, bird cherry, and rowan blossoms, and bluebells later on.

We welcome you to enjoy a spring break and take advantage of our longer stay discounts to explore the lovely Dornoch Firth area. Our house is on the edge of Carbisdale Woods and the farmland of Culrain and there are blossoms on the local hawthorn, wild cherry, bird cherry and rowan trees at various times of spring, as well as bluebells later on.

Particularly lovely in the spring is the area around Ardgay, such as Kincardine, Gearrchoille, and Strathcarron. Also the area around Spinningdale such as Achue is very beautiful at this time of the year.
